On September 11, 2001, the peace of a late-summer morning was broken by a series of terrorist attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives — including 412 first responders. In the days and months that followed, Americans came together in a spirit of unity, resilience, and compassion.
The City of St. George, along with local veterans’ organizations, service clubs, and community partners, invites you to gather for “Patriot Day: Remembering 9/11” — an evening dedicated to honoring those we lost and the heroism that rose from tragedy.
